Receive your medical certification from an aeromedical examiner

Every professional and recreational pilot must be checked by an aeromedical examiner. Also, other aviation personnel such as cabin crew and drone pilots need to be examined by an aeromedical examiner. If approved, you receive a certification that you have passed your aeromedical examination. This medical certificate is your approval which means you are clear to fly again.

Different kinds of aeromedical examinations are available

The aeromedical examiners of Sky Medical Center can complete the following aeromedical examinations for you:

  • EASA Class 1 – flying for commercial purposes
  • EASA Class 2 – recreational flying
  • EASA LAPL and Drone – gliders, balloon rides, ultra-lights and drone pilots
  • EASA Cabin Crew
  • FAA examination
  • Sky diving examination – paratroopers or parachutists

If additional tests or medical examinations are needed, you will be referred to a Medical Assessor of the Dutch CAA.
